Jett Britnell FI’16, FRCGS, FRGS

A 33-year photojournalism veteran with 57 magazine covers to his credit, Jett Britnell is a professional Underwater, Wildlife & Expedition Photographer, internationally published Writer and Explorer based in Vancouver, Canada. He is a Fellow of the world-renowned Explorers Club, a Fellow of Canada’s Royal Canadian Geographical Society, Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society in London, and an Antarctic Ambassador: International Association of Antarctica Tour Operators – (IAATO).

In December 2015, Jett was named one of “122 Inspiring Shooters You Should Know” in Scuba Diver Ocean Planet Magazine’s special underwater photography issue.

An accomplished Public Speaker and staunch supporter of marine conservation and environmental education, he was among the first in British Columbia to expound the need for the preservation of marine life in his magazine articles and presentations.
